Privacy Policy
What information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Last updated: October 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how YOUR-BUSINESS-NAME ("we," "us," "our"), the operator of Thrive Health insights (the "Site"), collects, uses and shares information when you visit the Site or click links on it. By using the Site you acknowledge this Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Site.
1. Who we are
Thrive Health insights is operated by YOUR-BUSINESS-NAME, YOUR-BUSINESS-ADDRESS. You can contact us at contact.thrivehealthinsights.com. For the purposes of privacy law, we are the "controller" or "business" responsible for the information described in this Policy.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you choose to write. Please do not send us sensitive health information. We do not need it to respond to your request.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site or click a link on it, we and our service providers may automatically receive:
- IP address and approximate location derived from it (such as country or region);
- device and browser type, operating system, screen size and language;
- the page you came from (for example, the ad or search result you clicked), the pages you view, links you click, and the date, time and duration of your visit;
- campaign, click and visitor identifiers that are attached to links (for example, tracking parameters in a URL) and cookie IDs.
Information from advertising and affiliate partners
If you arrive from an advertisement, the advertising platform may share limited information about the click, such as a click ID or campaign identifier. Affiliate networks and merchants may tell us whether a referral resulted in a qualifying action, so that we can be paid. We do not receive your payment details, and we do not receive your name or contact details from merchants unless you give them to us directly.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use similar technologies such as pixels, tags and local storage. We use them in the following ways:
| Purpose | What it does | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Site operation | Keeps the Site working and secure. | Basic technical cookies or server logs |
| Link and campaign tracking | Records clicks and visits so we can measure which pages and campaigns perform, detect invalid traffic, and attribute referrals. | ClickMagick tracking script and cookies |
| Advertising | Lets advertising platforms measure the performance of ads that lead to the Site. | Google Ads and YouTube conversion measurement, where used |
| Affiliate attribution | Set by affiliate networks or merchants after you click an affiliate link, so that a referral can be credited to us. | Affiliate network and merchant cookies |
Third parties set some of these cookies under their own privacy policies, and we do not control them. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the Site may then work less well, and some tracking identifiers may be carried in link addresses even without cookies.
4. Advertising
We may advertise on third-party platforms, including Google Ads and YouTube. Those platforms may use cookies and similar technologies to show and measure ads. You can manage how Google personalises ads through Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative.
5. Affiliate marketing
Some links on the Site are affiliate links. If you click one and complete a qualifying action with a third-party merchant, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. When you click such a link you leave the Site, and the merchant, affiliate network and any video or presentation host will handle your information under their own privacy policies. Please read them before you share any information or buy anything. See our affiliate disclosure for more.
6. How we use information
- To operate, secure, maintain and improve the Site and its content;
- to understand how visitors find and use the Site, and to measure the performance of our content, advertising and affiliate links;
- to receive commissions and reconcile them with our partners;
- to detect and prevent fraud, invalid clicks, abuse and security incidents;
- to respond to messages and requests, including privacy requests;
- to comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
7. How we share information
We share information only as described below:
- Service providers that help us run the Site, such as hosting, security and link-tracking providers, who may process data on our behalf;
- Advertising and affiliate partners, such as ad platforms, affiliate networks and merchants, who receive click, referral and technical information to measure performance and attribute commissions;
- Legal and safety reasons, where required by law or to protect rights, safety and the integrity of the Site;
- Business changes, such as a sale or restructuring of the business.
We do not sell your name, email address or other directly identifying information for money. Some laws treat sharing identifiers with advertising partners for ad measurement or targeted advertising as a "sale" or "sharing". You can opt out as described in section 10.
8. Sensitive and health information
We do not ask for health information, and the Site does not offer health assessments or collect health records. Our content is educational. If you contact us, please avoid including medical details.
9. Retention and security
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes in this Policy, for example to keep accurate records of referrals and commissions, to resolve disputes and to meet legal requirements, and then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- know what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy;
- correct inaccurate information;
- request deletion of your personal information;
- opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and of targeted advertising;
- object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where we rely on it;
- not be treated unfairly for exercising these rights.
To exercise a right, email YOUR-CONTACT-EMAIL@example.com with the subject "Privacy request" and tell us what you would like. We may need to verify your identity before acting. You can also use your browser's cookie controls, ad-settings tools listed in section 4, and your device's privacy settings. If we decline a request, you may be able to appeal or contact your local privacy regulator.
U.S. state privacy laws
Residents of certain U.S. states, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and others, have rights under state privacy laws, including the rights listed above. In the past 12 months we may have collected the categories of information in section 2 (identifiers, internet activity and approximate location), for the purposes in section 6, and disclosed identifiers and internet activity to the categories of recipients in section 7. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of people under 16.
Visitors from the UK and European Economic Area
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal data on these bases: consent for non-essential cookies and similar technologies; legitimate interests in operating, securing and measuring the performance of the Site and our advertising, balanced against your rights; and legal obligation where required. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
11. International transfers
We and our service providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States and the country where we are established. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
12. Children's privacy
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in some places). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Do Not Track
Some browsers send "Do Not Track" or similar signals. There is currently no common standard for responding to them, so the Site does not alter its behaviour in response to them, except where the law requires us to honour an opt-out preference signal.
14. Third-party sites
The Site contains links to websites we do not operate. This Policy does not apply to them. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of every site you visit.
15. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will be highlighted where appropriate.
